WHAT IS EMSCULPT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

EmSculpt is an FDA approved non-surgical, non-invasive body sculpting treatment that works in two ways: Its main effect is to tighten the abdominal muscles and the buttock muscles in order to treat abdominal muscle laxity and buttock muscle laxity. It works by stimulating muscle contractions in these areas through the application of high intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy fields. This energy causes the muscles to contract with an intensity that is not achievable through voluntary muscle contraction. The effect of this is to build up and tighten the treated muscle, improving muscle tone and hence body contour in the abdomen and buttocks. As a secondary effect, the HIFEM energy also cause the treated areas to burn some fat. This helps to further enhance the shape of the abdomen and buttocks.
