LUTRONIC ECO2 LASER
The eCO2 laser is advanced carbon dioxide laser that is used for removing benign and superficial skin growths such as warts, milia, syringomas, sebaceous hyperplasias, and small moles. These growths are efficiently vaporized away by using lower power under topical anesthesia with numbing cream. The wounds take five to seven days to heal. Downtime can minimized or eliminated by applying a recovery cream that doubles up as a concealer.
A more sophisticated function of this laser is fractional resurfacing or skin rejuvenation and the treatment of acne scars. In this mode, tiny microscopic wounds are created by the laser over a small fraction of the skin’s surface area. This micro-injury stimulates collagen remodeling and production during healing, resulting in improved skin texture. Because the wounds are so tiny and only occur over a small fraction of the skin surface area, there are no obvious skin wounds, just a moderate degree of redness that fades in three to five days.
