BOTOX INJECTIONS FOR THE BODY
In the body, Botox is used for calf contouring much in the same way as it is used to contour the lower jaw. Botox reduces the bulk of prominent calf muscles by relaxing them. This produces a significant slimming effect on the calves. The treatments are done every 6 months.
Botox is also effective in the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis, a condition characterized by excessive sweating of the underarms. When injected into the skin of the underarm area, Botox shuts down the sweat glands which lie just beneath the skin. This effect lasts around 9 months and can be repeated as needed.
